Welcome at 'Maison Neuve'.  

In September 2005 we, Bea en Hans, have started to renovate our 'New House'. We would like to share this nice house and its beautiful surroundings with you.

For this reason, we have 4 double bedrooms (from 12 until 15 square meters, depending on the room) with their own bathroom (shower, toilet and washbasin). We serve the well-known “Bed & Breakfast”. We also have a Apartment (2 / 4 persons) with a sitting area (app. 16 square meters), a sleeping area (app. 13 square meters) and a private bathroom (shower, toilet and washbasin).

It is also possible to place an extra (baby)bed in the rooms.  

You can find our charming 'Chambres d'hôtes' about 14 km from Ambert, between Saint-Amant-Roche-Savine and Grandval (D37). Grandval is a small authentic village in the Auvergne, in the department "Puy de Dome" nr. 63. During your stay you can enjoy the nature and silence around us. For this purpose we already a set of various wandering maps available

We will be pleased to show you the nice places, markets and fine restaurants in the surrounding area. We also invite you to join us with our "Table d'hôtes"  (Table of the host) for diner, to taste our local and own grown regional products.  We are not allowed to offer an “à la carte menu”, but in case of special wishes as special diet, please let us know and we shall see to do something special.

The year around you can do a lot of things in the neighbourhood to enjoy you. Every season has its own charms. During winter we are reasonable sure of snow (January / February) because we live at 820 meters altitude.

During the winter you can enjoy the snow 'by ski' at 'Station Chalmazel', only 40 km from us.

We also can provide you with sandwiches to take away (please reserve the evening before for both the table d’hôtes  and/or sandwiches).

We have a non-smoking Chambres d'hôtes. The smoking area is in the garden, andwe are open during the whole year.
